Read how Charl Schwartzel won the Alfred Dunhill Championship by an amazing twelve shots over Kristoffer Broberg, with last week's winner Scott Jamieson, defending champion Garth Mulroy, Andy Sullivan and Grégory Bourdy coming in tied third a further shot back.
Charl has been imperious over the past two weeks. First an eleven shot victory at the Thailand Golf Championship and now a twelve shot victory at the Alfred Dunhill Championship. As you would expect, his Genworth Statistics are green across the board. He has hit the ball very long and straight, found most of the greens and putted exceptionally. It is nothing less than a golfing master class.

There is much talk about the up and coming Kristoffer Broberg. With four Challenge Tour victories to his name in 2012, it is of no surprise to see him mixing it on the big stage. We are looking forward to seeing how his Genworth Statistics take shape as the 2013 season progresses, highlighting his strengths and any potential weaknesses. Kristoffer is on our short list for European Tour maiden winners next year.

We have been reporting on Scott's potential for a while now. We highlighted him as a potential winner in our Nelson Mandela Championship preview, which he then went on to win. This week he performed consistently across the board. The only chink in the armour was his Genworth Par 3 Scoring Statistic at 3.19.

An excellent week was had by the defending champion Garth Mulroy. He was second in birdies made only to Charl Schwartzel, and according to his Genworth Driving Distance statistic he was also the second longest hitter in the field. Garth is most definitely one to watch in 2013.

Andy's best finish on the European Tour last season was tied 14th. He ended up 145th on the Race to Dubai and made the trip back to the Qualifying School, where he placed 3rd to re-gain his status. With that in mind he will be over the moon with his 3rd place finish this week (his best ever on the European Tour). It should stand him in good stead for the season ahead.

With Charl so far out in front this week, the other players must have felt like they were playing a tournament within a tournament. And Grégory led that one right up to the last hole. Unfortunately he made a double bogey 7 which is likely to leave a bad taste in his mouth, but there are many good things to take away from the week. He hit lots of greens, putted very well and headed up the Genworth Par 3 Scoring statistic together with Charl Schwartzel.
