Genworth Stats Pack - Round 1 Review
Benign conditions enabled 69 players to break Par in the first round of the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters. Many of the marquee players got off to a solid start but it was the 2012 Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year winner Ricardo Santos that jumped out in front. We analyse his first round performance, plus round up the early leaders of the Genworth Statistics.

Ricardo Santos has carried his excellent form over from last week's 4th place finish in Abu Dhabi to lead over the Doha course. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 30 year old Portuguese player drove the ball with only 35.7% accuracy. From there though he managed a solid 72.2% Greens in Regulation and some magical short game moments, including 5/6 scrambles, 1.462 Putts per GIR and just 24 putts.
