This time of year can only mean one thing in golf – The Masters. The eyes of the sporting world will once again be focused on Augusta National as golf’s greatest prepare to battle it out for the first Major of the year and European Tour Weekly will be on the range to get the thoughts of the players as they look forward to the starting gun.
In 2012, Augusta National served up another thrilling climax, which ended with American Bubba Watson overcoming Louis Oosthuizen and pulling off the fifth win by a left-hander in the last ten Masters Tournaments. In an exclusive interview, Watson speaks to European Tour Weekly about that magical week twelve months ago.
As always there will be a strong European Tour contingent heading to Augusta National, which this year contains seven debutants. ETW will be catching up with one of those, South African George Coetzee, who will be teeing up at The Masters for the first time thanks to an impressive 2012 campaign that saw him finish the year in the World’s top fifty ranked players.
