This week European Tour Weekly is on site in Perthshire to preview the Johnnie Walker Championship at The Gleneagles Hotel, the venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup. ETW will be on the range with the latest views from the players on the eve of the tournament.

One of the home hopes for this week is the 2007 Johnnie Walker Championship winner Marc Warren. In only his second year on The European Tour Warren defeated Simon Wakefield in a play-off to follow up on a successful debut season when he won the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year award. Warren is fresh off a 12th place finish at the US PGA Championship and is nicely placed inside the top twenty on the current Race to Dubai standings.

In a special feature, European Tour Weekly takes an in-depth look at The Gleneagles Hotel, the venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup. ETW spoke to Europe’s Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley as he looks forward to the contest, which takes place in just over a year’s time.

ETW brings a comprehensive review of the SSE Scottish Senior Open from Fairmont St. Andrews.

Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour, this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
