David HOWELL -23

David Howell converted six birdies against a single bogey on his way to a final round 67, emerging as the winner from a playoff with Peter Uihlein. Looking at his Genworth Statistics for the week, the 38 year old Englishman performed steadily off the tee with 43/61 fairways but was exceptional with his approach play hitting 64/72 Greens in Regulation. To be fair there were no real weaknesses at all, with great scoring across the different hole types (Par 3’s / Par 4’s / Par 5’s) and being one of seven players to drop only three shots all week. With this win David climbs up to 12th on the Race to Dubai.
