In the last week of September, the eyes of the golfing world focused on Scotland and the celebrations surrounding a Year to Go until The 2014 Ryder Cup.

A whirlwind two days has been captured by a specially commissioned half hour observational documentary – produced by European Tour Productions – which will be shown on Sky Sports 4 on Monday October 21 at 6.30pm. The documentary will also be made available to international broadcasters in due course.

‘One Year To Go’ follows captains Paul McGinley and Tom Watson through their packed itinerary at the Home of Golf which included; a breakfast in the Great Hall at Edinburgh Castle, a steam train journey from Edinburgh to Gleneagles, golf with ClubGolf children on the PGA Centenary Course, an Evening with The Captains at Perth Concert Hall, the launch of the Ryder Cup Educational Resource at The Community School of Auchterarder, and their first joint press conference in the ballroom at The Gleneagles Hotel.

Featuring exclusive interviews with both captains in addition to the views of key personnel both from Ryder Cup Europe and the PGA of America, ‘One Year to Go’ truly whets the appetite for the 40th Ryder Cup at Gleneagles next September.
