FJ, the #1 Shoe & Glove in golf, was again at the top of leaderboards around the world this weekend, led by its brand ambassador, Victor Dubuisson, who held off a stellar field at the Turkish Airlines Open to claim his maiden European Tour victory. The prodigious 23 year-old Frenchman underlined his obvious talent with an impressive 24 under-par total around The Montgomerie Maxx Royal for a two-shot victory over a field that included 16 players ranked inside the top 50 of the Official World Golf Rankings. With the €848,930 first-place prize money Dubuisson vaults into ninth position in the Race to Dubai rankings, ahead of the final event of the season this week in Dubai.
Following a flawless round of 63 on Saturday, which left him with a five-shot cushion heading into the final day, Dubuisson began Sunday with nine consecutive pars. Despite pressure being applied by several of the tournaments headline players, he was the epitome of calm in FJ Contour Casuals and FJ Apparel, as turned on the style on the back-nine with three birdies in the closing four holes. Dubuisson was in good company in opting for FJ, as 60% of the field also opting for the all-round excellence of the market-leader, compared to just 15% for the nearest competitor. On the OneAsia Tour, FJ Ambassador and current Masters Champion, Adam Scott, claimed a dominant victory on home soil, with a four-stroke win in the Australian PGA Championship. The popular Aussie wore a new FJ prototype shoe and an FJ StaSof®, as he scorched Royal Pines Golf Club, posting a 14-under par total in what was his first official tournament down-under since making history as the first Australian winner of The Masters, in April.
