Titleist Pro V1x loyalist Henrik Stenson completed an historic season this weekend with a stunning six-shot victory at the DP World Tour Championship to top the European Tour’s season-long Race to Dubai standings. He adds this to the FedExCup title which he won in September after sealing victory in two of the closing four play-off events on the PGA Tour.

Stenson fired a closing round of 64 in Dubai to set a tournament record 25-under par, 263 victory total ahead of an all-Titleist golf ball top-4. The Swede was joined in the winners’ circle this weekend by Titleist Brand Ambassador Adam Scott who sealed back-to-back victories on the Australasian Tour, alongside further wins for Titleist golf ball loyalists on the PGA Tour and Asian Tours respectively.

Stenson sealed his first European Tour title of the season at the Jumeirah Golf Estates in style, posting six birdies and a tap-in eagle on the final hole on his way to a final round 64. As well as being the choice of the champion at the event, each of the top four finishers relied upon the performance and consistency of the #1 ball in golf for their success, including Pro V1x loyalist Ian Poulter who finished in second place, last week’s winner and Titleist Brand Ambassador Victor Dubuisson (Pro V1x) in third place and Pro V1 loyalist Joost Luiten in fourth.

Titleist golf balls were also the overwhelming choice of the field, with 30 of the 56-player field choosing to tee up with a Titleist golf ball, compared to 8 for the nearest competitor.

An historic double for Pro V1x loyalist Henrik Stenson on both sides of the Atlantic, as well as back-to-back wins for Titleist Brand Ambassador Adam Scott continues to prove that the world’s best players trust the superior performance and consistency of Titleist to deliver their success.
