The Senior Open Championship Presented by Rolex visits Royal Porthcawl Golf Club for the first time in 2014, and golf fans can ensure they have the best seat in the house for this historic occasion through the exclusive event hospitality packages.

Offering a warm and relaxed atmosphere, the Championship bistro, located in the heart of the Tented Village near the 18th green, will provide the ideal setting to enjoy the prestigious Senior Open Championship, as some of the game’s most iconic names take on the Bridgend links from July 24-27.

Hospitality packages are available now, costing just £99 (including VAT) and contain all the key ingredients for an unforgettable day out at this leading sporting event.

As well as admission to the course and parking, the package includes breakfast, a two-course lunch, half a bottle of wine per person, a programme and daily drawsheet, and a guaranteed seat in the 18th green grandstand to watch all of the action unfold.

Edward Kitson, Championship Director, said: “The Senior Open Championship’s first visit to Wales and Royal Porthcawl promises to be a special occasion and our hospitality packages provide the perfect way to be part of it, combining superb hospitality with top class golf.”

American Mark Wiebe won The 2013 Senior Open Championship Presented by Rolex, defeating Germany’s Bernhard Langer, the 2010 winner, in a play-off at Royal Birkdale Golf Club, in Southport.

Royal Porthcawl was recently voted 45th Golf Digest's 2014 listing of the World's 100 Greatest Golf Courses.
