Titleist Pro V1x loyalist Alejandro Canizares claimed his second European Tour title this weekend with a five stroke victory at the Trophée Hassan II. The Spaniard closed with a final round 70 to claim his first tournament win in eight years, following a stunning opening round of 62 which began his emphatic wire-to-wire victory in Morocco. On the PGA Tour, Pro V1 loyalist John Senden also ended his wait to re-enter the winners’ circle, claiming his first title in seven years with a dramatic one-stroke victory at The Valspar Championship. The Australian closed with a final round of 70 en route to a 7-under par, 277 winning total at the Innisbrook Resort. With Senden’s victory, Titleist golf ball loyalists have now won 12 events so far on the 2013-14 PGA Tour season, six times more than the nearest competitor with 2.

In Morocco, Canizares completed a five stroke win over Englishman and fellow Pro V1x loyalist Andy Sullivan to complete an all-Pro V1x 1-2 for the #1 ball in golf, and claim his first Tour title since the 2006 Russian Open. In addition to success for Titleist golf ball players, no fewer than four of the top eight finishers and ties trusted a full bag of Titleist equipment for their success, including Seve Benson (T-3), Rafael Cabrera-Bello (T-5), Wade Ormsby (T-5) and Paul Waring (T-8). As well as being the choice of the champion at Golf du Palais Royal, Titleist was also the overwhelming golf ball of choice at the event, with 86 of the 126-player field choosing to trust the performance and consistency of the Pro V1 or Pro V1x. Titleist golf ball loyalists have now won six events on the 2013-14 European Tour schedule, three times the nearest competitor with two.

On the PGA Tour, Titleist golf ball loyalist John Senden (Pro V1) claimed a one stroke victory over Titleist Brand Ambassador Kevin Na (Pro V1x), who trusted the performance excellence of Titleist equipment from tee-to-green. Scott Langley (Pro V1x) finished two shots behind Senden in third, one shot ahead of Luke Donald (Pro V1x), Robert Garrigus (Pro V1) and Will MacKenzie (Pro V1x) who each finished tied for fourth place, completing a clean sweep of the top six players at the tournament for Titleist golf ball loyalists. In addition to all of the top finishers, Titleist golf balls were also the overwhelming golf ball of choice at the event, with 86 of the 144-player field choosing to tee it up with a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, nearly four times the nearest competitor with 22. These victories take Titleist’s 2014 worldwide win count to 29 across worldwide professional tours, compared to six for the nearest competitor.

Stunning victories for Titleist golf ball loyalists Alejandro Canizares and John Senden, coupled with impressive counts and a host of top finishers putting their trust in Titleist golf balls across worldwide professional tours, continues to prove that the world’s best players put their trust in the superior performance, quality and consistency of Titleist to deliver their success.
