A six-time European Tour winner, he had a truly memorable season in 2012 with wins at the KLM Open and BMW Masters, and a tied third finish at the Masters Tournament, on the way to a career-high fourth place in the Race to Dubai Rankings.

Was part of ‘The Miracle at Medinah’ - Europe’s sensational victory at The 2012 Ryder Cup - in his second appearance at the greatest team competition in golf, having also played his part in another Team Europe win at Celtic Manor Resort two years earlier.

Won his national Open in 2008 at Arlandastad Golf in Stockholm, becoming the first Swede to win the event in ten years. That was his second European Tour victory, following the 2005 Open de España en Andalucia at San Roque Club, where he beat compatriot Peter Gustafsson in a play-off.
