Won his first Challenge Tour event at the Scottish Hydro Challenge in August 2009, continuing his fine form the the tournament following a runner-up finish there two years previously. First picked up a golf club at 12 years old and was inspired as a teenager by Greg Norman. He acquired European Tour category 13 in 2007 and first made the cut at a European Tour event at the Madeira Islands Open in 2008.
