Kitbag, Europe’s leading sports online retailer, has been announced as the Official Retail Partner for The 2014 Ryder Cup, held at The Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire, Scotland, from September 26-28.
The agreement sees Kitbag add to its existing Ryder Cup portfolio, as the company already operates the online shop for The 2014 Ryder Cup and also The 2018 Ryder Cup in France, in conjunction with the French Golf Federation.
Under the terms of the agreement, Kitbag will be responsible for running the on-site Merchandise Pavilion when the 40th edition of golf’s greatest team event is played in Scotland for the first time in more than 40 years.
In addition, Kitbag will also operate an online shop to enable Ryder Cup partners and their guests to purchase corporate and hospitality merchandise in advance of attending the biennial event.
