With the 2014 Open Championship consigned to history our Countdown to the 40th Ryder Cup resumes.

Just 2 months remain before Paul McGinley leads Europe out at Gleneagles, and he will have observed this past weekend’s events in Liverpool with keen interest. For while the spoils belonged to Rory McIlroy, results behind him cast new light on the complexion of Europe's team.

Featuring exclusive interviews with the Captain, his potential players and key personnel from Ryder Cup Europe, Countdown To The Ryder Cup charts the developments in and around the team as it continues to take shape.

It’s an exclusive opportunity to share the thoughts of Victor Dubuisson as the enigmatic Frenchman prepares to make his continental debut while, at the other end of the experience spectrum, Lee Westwood is on hand to recount the memories of his 8 Ryder Cup campaigns to date. Also joining us are a pair of former Ryder Cup captains; Jose Maria Olazabal reflects on the dramatic events of 2012 while we roll back the years further still with Tony Jacklin.

Episode three will be available on our international broadcast partner channels, so please check your local Ryder Cup broadcaster TV schedule for further details.
