Continues to be competitive into his 60s, finishing 15th on the Senior Tour Order of Merit following four top ten finishes, the best of which was third place in the Fubon Senior Open. It was his best campaign since 2009, when was eighth on the Order of Merit in 2009, finishing joint runner up behind Glenn Ralph in the Cleveland Golf/Srixon Scottish Senior Open – one of six top ten finishes during an impressive season. Both of his Senior Tour victories came in 2004, at the Open de France Senior and the Sanremo Masters, where he shot a superb final round eight under par 61. That remains a record for the lowest 18 hole score - although Carl Mason equalled it in 2008 as did Angel Fernandez in 2011 and Andrew Oldcorn in 2013- and his winning total of 193 was the lowest 54 hole score recorded on the Senior Tour. A former two-time winner of the prestigious Glenmuir Club Professionals’ Championship, he was also a member of five Great Britain & Ireland PGA Cup teams.
