Earned a scholarship to Arizona State after an impressive junior career and became an All-American in 1984. The following year he earned his card for what is now the Web.com Tour before going on to play in the Asian Tour from the late 1980s to the early 1990s. Turned his attentions to Europe soon after and had status on both the Challenge Tour and European Tour in the late 1990s. Began to divide his time with real estate and mortgage banking but soon made the biggest lodgement into his career memory bank when he carded a 59 to win a Wyoming State Open in 1994. Has remained active in real estate business sine 1993. In 1997, he returned to the second tier of professional golf in America. Made his European Senior Tour debut in 2013, practising alongside Tom Kite and Tom Watson, and qualified and competed in the Senior Open Championship in 2013 and 2014. Gained the fourth card on offer at Senior Tour Qualifying School.
