Claimed a conditional card at the Senior Tour Qualifying School, following an opening round 76 with three rounds of 70 to take 15th spot. Finished tied 32nd in The Senior Open Championship at Sunningdale in 2009 and spent most of his Senior career on the US Championships Tour. Highlight of his career came in 1990 when lost in a sudden death play-off to Hale Irwin in the US Open Championship at Medinah after they both finished the 18 hole play-off in 74 strokes. Won the National Junior College Athletic Association title while at Broward Community College and attended Georgia Southern University. His sole US PGA Tour title came in the Anheuser-Busch Golf Classic in 1989.
