This former English international table tennis player is second in terms of appearances on the European Senior Tour. Played 14 times during 2006 to reach the figure of 213 total appearances, which was one better than fellow Englishman Tommy Horton when the 2007 season got underway. Has won once during that time, claiming the 2000 Energis Senior Masters over the Edinburgh Course at Wentworth Club. Finished 66th and 64th on the Order of Merit in the previous two years but retained his playing privileges through his position on the All-Time Career Money List. Won the Hardys Super Senior Order of Merit in 2003, having claimed the over 60s first prize at no less than six events during the season. Had to overcome two brain tumour operations before establishing his career in golf. Lives in Germany but spends most of his winters in America, where he competes in mini-tour events.
