Texan Kurt Cox extended his overnight lead in the third round of the £180,000 Belfry PGA Seniors Championship on Sunday.

Playing over the PGA National course at The Belfry, the 53-year-old struggled with his driver all day but still shot a three-under 69 for a 209 aggregate - two ahead of Aussie John Tolhurst.

Leading the British challenge for the £30,000 first prize was Northern Ireland's Eddie Polland, whose spirited finish of two birdies in the last three holes gave him a 69 for an aggregate of 214.
