Eligibility for the Belfry PGA Seniors Championship.
A field of 120 professionals will play one round on each of the first two days, after which the leading 50 and those who tie for 50th place will go forward to the 3rd and 4th rounds.
(a) The leading 60 players from the 2000 European Seniors Tour exemption categories who enter
(b) The leading 20 players in the 2000 PGA Senior Club Professional Championhip who enter and who are not exempt under another exemption category. Ties in the PGA Seniors Club Professionals Champinoship will be decided by a card play-off.
(c) A maximum of 8 invitations
(d) 3 places will be reserved for the leading 3 non-exempt players finishing in the top 10 from the preceding regular European Seniors Tour Order of Merit tournament (De Vere Hotels Senior Classic). Qualifying places will initially be reduced by 3 but will be returned if not utilised.
(e) Past PGA Seniors Championship winners and past PGA Championship winners.
(f) The balance of the field to be determined by an 18 hole qualifying round on Tuesday August 22nd.
