The European Seniors Tour makes its third successive visit to Holland this week for the Ordina Legends in Golf which this year moves to Crayestein Golf Club for the first time.
Once again a first-class field has gathered with the best of Europe’s senior golfers including Neil Coles, the only golfer in history to have won in six different decades, and David Huish, twice a winner this season. Sadly the tournament will miss the 1999 champion, Mike Slater who lost his battle against cancer earlier this year. Slater claimed his maiden Seniors Tour title 12 months ago at Prise D’Eau with a magnificent four-stroke victory.
The format will be the same as last year with Pro-Ams on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday and Saturday 18 celebrities will be added to the field of 72 seniors for 36-hole stableford tournament. On Sunday the top 50 seniors and ties will decide the final outcome.
