Entrants must have attained the age of fifty years on or before 26th July 2000.
They shall be either:
(a) Professional golfers who are members of a recognised Professional Golfers Association
(b) Amateur golfers with a playing handicap of two (2) or lower under the Council of National Golf Unions handicapping scheme adopted by the recognised authority controlling golf in their country.
NOTE: Amateur entries will not be accepted unless accompanied by a handicap certificate.
The Championship Committee reserve the right to accept entries from players with a handicap of greater than two, should the Committee feel that their participation would be in the interests of the Championship.
