Carbonetti Retains Bad Ragaz PGA Seniors Crown
Argentina’s Horacio Carbonetti became the first player to successfully defend a title this season on the European Seniors Tour when he produced a brilliant finish in the Bad Ragaz PGA Seniors Open to catch Englishman Denis Durnian and defeat him in a play-off.
Durnian Maintains lead in Switzerland
A storming finish helped Denis Durnian keep the lead after the second round in the Bad Ragaz PGA Seniors Open at Bad Ragaz Golf Club in Switzerland. The Englishman fired a two under par 68 in the European Seniors Tour event to lead on 10 under par from the defending champion Horacio Carbonetti from Argentina.
Dream Start by Durnian in Bad Ragaz
England’s Denis Durnian made a dream start in the Bad Ragaz PGA Seniors Open in Switzerland when he shot the lowest round of his career, an eight under par 62. The bogey free round, capped superbly by birdies on the last four holes, matched the course record at Bad Ragaz Golf Club and gave him a three stroke lead ahead of Englishman Bob Cameron.
Bad Ragaz set for more Good Golf
The idyllic setting of Bad Ragaz Golf Club in Switzerland hosts the European Seniors Tour this week. The Bad Ragaz PGA Seniors Open tees off on Thursday with a strong field arriving from Senior British Open Championship presented by MasterCard, which finished on Sunday at Royal Portrush Golf Club.
