Other features
Woburn Golf Club (Dukes Course) is a renowned tournament venue. The fairways are lined with Scots Pines and Silver Birch, making scoring difficult. The key to scoring is the front nine with 2 reachable par 5’s and generous fairways. The back nine however is a different story. 5 par 4’s over 400yds, narrow fairways and sloping greens, not to mention the 596 yard difference in overall yardage. Players will do well to shoot 37 (level par) over the closing nine.
