Six-time Staysure Tour winner Barry Lane added another title to his burgeoning trophy cabinet after winning the Fujifilm Senior Championship in Japan at Edosaki Country Club.

After rounds of 67-72, the 1993 Ryder Cup player began the third and final round on three under par, two strokes behind fellow Staysure Tour member Prayad Marksaeng and 2016 champion Tamura Naoyuki.

He went on to card a tournament-low score of 64, seven under par, as he finished two strokes ahead of Marksaeng to win a ¥14,000,000 first prize (approx €108,000).

"I've won tournaments around the world, but hadn't won in Japan before so I'm very happy to win my first title here," said Lane. "Yesterday's golf was painful and I didn't play as well as I would expect from myself. But today I was very relaxed from the beginning."
