Spectators at Wentworth could be in dreamland this week at the BMW PGA Championship, thanks to an incredible prize put up for grabs by Hilton, the Official Hotel Partner of the European Tour.
Hilton has installed ‘The Best Bed in the House’ adjacent to the second green at Wentworth Club with fans given the opportunity to watch the action in luxury comfort just yards away from the action on the West Course.
Should any player register a hole-in-one on the second from Thursday to Sunday, the lucky fans in the bed at the same time will win a five-night dream getaway to Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa - including flights.
What’s more, the player will also win an identical trip for themselves and a guest, too.
There have been nine aces on the West Course’s second hole since 1999, with the last registered by Rikard Karlberg in 2016. The hole will play up to 154 yards this week, with a slight elevation from tee to green.
Aligi Gardenghi, Hilton Vice President of Marketing, EMEA, said: “We’ve all been offered the best seats in the house, but we believe this a world first for a golf tournament: The Best Bed in the House!
“We’d absolutely love to be sending fans to the Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa, one of the premier properties on the planet. We’ve got our fingers crossed!”
There were no holes-in-one on the first three days but plenty of laughs and near misses...
To register for the Best Bed in the House, spectators will need to visit the Hilton desk by the second green. Fans will be given a timeslot to watch the action as two groups play the hole.
