American Stars to Compete in The Barclays Scottish Open

Phil Mickelson, who finished third in last month's Masters Tournament for the third consecutive year, has confirmed his place in the £2.2 million Barclays Scottish Open, which takes place at Loch Lomond from July 10-13.

Mickelson, who is currently ranked 18th on the US PGA Tour Money List and fourth in the Official World Golf Ranking, finished seventh when he last played at Loch Lomond in 2000.

Mickelson said: "I am very much looking forward to returning to The Barclays Scottish Open at Loch Lomond for the second time. It is a fantastic golf course and a very enjoyable week for players and their families."

Savings of over 50% are available on tickets booked before May 31, and all spectators will get free parking for the first time in the tournament's history.
