Ernie Els ‘modernised’ the course during the winter of 2005/2006, adding 11 new tees & 38 new bunkers.  2007 – 1 new tee at 15 and 6 new bunkers were added.  Winter 2007/2008 – 2nd & 18th greens reconstructed and bunkers reshaped and deepened.
