-5- A total of 70 players made the Championship record low cut of five-under par after round two was completed on Saturday morning.

1-  Alex Levy made a hole-in-one with his 9-iron on the 171 yard 4th hole. The Frenchman went on to record a seven-under third round of 65.

63- Low round of the day moved Andy Sullivan up 21 spots to solo 5th. The Englishman's nine-under-par 63 included 10 birdies, six of which came in his last nine holes on Saturday.

5- Low scoring continued on day three with just five players of the 70 who made the halfway cut shooting over par - Matt Wallace, Jamie Donaldson, Richard Sterne, Daan Huizing, and Matthieu Pavon.

29- Starting from the 10th tee American Pat Perez played his first nine holes in seven-under-par, the joint lowest back nine score (30) in tournament history.

7- It was a tale of two halves for Perez who played his second nine seven-shots worse firing a two-over-par 37.

366- The distance (yards) in which Rory McIlroy hit his drive on the third hole.

1- McIlroy is one-shot behind leader Li Haotong heading into tomorrow's final round, the same deficit the former world number one found himself in one week ago in Abi Dhabi where he would finish third.
