The Volvo PGA Championship is pleased to introduce a new service in conjunction with Event Mobility, a registered charitable trust established in 1999 with the aim and objective of "Providing a facility to assist the Disabled, Elderly and Mobility Impaired achieve easier access to countryside events".
The service will provide a number of electric scooters which can be used by the elderly or disabled for a day of golf watching. Appreciating that a lack of mobility prohibits both the disabled and elderly from participating fully in watching all aspects of the golf, we hope that this service will enhance your enjoyment of a visit to the Volvo PGA Championship.
The facility will be located in the disabled car park and there will be attendants to show you how to use the vehicles and also to give you a map of the course and indicate which areas might not be suitable for the scooters.
You can either reserve your scooter in advance or turn up on the day:
- Book in Advance - £12 per day - guaranteed availability
- Rent on the Day - £10 per day - but availability on the day cannot be guaranteed.
