Former winner George Coetzee will get his AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open campaign under way alongside big-hitting Belgian Thomas Pieters and India’s Shubhankar Sharma at Heritage Golf Club.
The winner of The European Tour’s inaugural event in Mauritius in 2015, South African Coetzee comes into the event on the back of a top-25 finish at the season opening Alfred Dunhill Championship.
He tees off at 07:20 in a group boasting 10 European Tour titles between them.
The same three nationalities are represented in the 07:30 grouping on Thursday, where India’s Shiv Kapur is joined by Coetzee’s compatriot Christiaan Bezuidenhout and Belgian Thomas Detry.
