Home hero Cameron Smith will begin his challenge for a third straight Australian PGA Championship crown in the company of American Cameron Champ and New Zealand's Ryan Fox on Thursday.
Back to back champion Smith returns to RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast looking to see off a top class field containing countrymen Adam Scott and Wade Ormsby.
The Queensland native will get his opening round under way at 0600 from the tenth tee alongside 2019 ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth champion Fox and World Number 79 Champ.
Another two time winner of this event, Greg Chalmers, starts his first round at 1130 with fellow Australians Rod Pampling and Steven Bowditch, 30 minutes after 2013 Masters Champion Scott tees it up with Stewart Cink and Min Woo Lee.
The first group to arrive at the first tee on Thursday contains Australian Steven Jeffress, New Zealand's Michael Hendry and 18-year-old Dane Nicolai Højgaard, whose twin brother Rasmus won the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open earlier this month. They get started at 0600.
