Road to Mallorca Rankings update

Santiago Tarrio took the number one spot on the Road to Mallorca Rankings courtesy of two top five finishes in the Spanish Swing. The Spaniard came third in the Challenge de Cádiz before claiming his second European Challenge Tour trophy in three weeks in the Challenge de España.

Tarrio climbed five places to move into pole position on the Road to Mallorca with an impressive 87,598 points after nine starts in 2021.

Kristof Ulenaers produced two sensational performances in his first two professional starts on the Challenge Tour to catapult to eighth in the rankings on 41,000 points. The 22-year-old claimed a remarkable wire-to-wire victory in the Challenge de Cádiz on his professional debut before finishing in a tie for fifth in the Challenge de España.

Craig Howie is third on the rankings despite playing just one of the events in Spain, finishing 34th in the Challenge de Cádiz. The Scotsman claimed an impressive seven-stroke victory at the Range Servant Challenge by Hinton Golf in May and has a total of 52,777 points, 1,421 points ahead of  Irish Challenge winner Daan Huizing, who is in fourth.

Sweden’s Henric Sturehed sits in fifth place on 42,982 points due to a terrific second place finish in South Africa at the Dimension Data Pro-Am, while Oliver Bekker holds sixth on 42,398 points.

Germany’s Hurly Long climbed to seventh from 19th after two top-ten finishes in Spain and Scotsman Ewen Ferguson moved into the top ten after his runner-up finish in the Challenge de España.
