Jeev Milkha Singh moved to the top of the leaderboard at the Golf Nippon Series JT Cup today after carding a level par 70 in the second round.
The 36 year old European Tour Member, who won the tournament in 2006, was tied for second place after firing a six under par 64 in the opening round at Tokyo Yomiuri Country Club.
But after going bogey free in the opening round, the Indian ace had an inconsistent second day with four birdies and four bogeys although it was enough to give him a one shot advantage at the halfway stage of the Japan Tour event.
Singh is a shot ahead of Katsumasa Miyamoto, who carded a one over 71, and Toshinori Muto, who shot a level par 70.
