Golf fans attending the BMW Championship at Wentworth Club this week will have the opportunity to be photographed with the stars of The European Tour, with proceeds from prints purchased going towardsGOLFAID.
GOLFAID supports a number of worthwhile charitable causes local to tournaments nominated by Members of The European Tour. At this week’s BMW Championship,GOLFAID fund raising initiatives include contributions from sales of photographic imagery to the general public and corporate guests.
Throughout the week the OLPdigital Stand in the Tented Village will offer spectators the chance to be photographed teeing off against a back-drop of the first tee and Wentworth Clubhouse. Players are invited to stand alongside these spectators.
Each personal image is then edited into a daily highlights montage from action photographs kindly made available by Getty Images – Official Photographers of The European Tour.
Framed or unframed, these prints will make a great memento for fans, and importantly 50% of all net income generated will go towardsGOLFAID's nominated charities.
Players and spectators alike have the chance to helpGOLFAID’s charities and make life a little better for those less fortunate. Under the maxim “Golfers Giving Back”, European Tour Members are helping raise funds for charities throughout Europe with the European Tour Wives Association (ETWA).
