Westwood Moves Back Up in the World

Lee Westwood's patience finally paid off with victory and a rise back up 92 places in the World Rankings to No.123 having slipped from a high of World No.4 in 2000. Alex Cejka continued his good season with a second placed finish to Lee Westwood at the BMW International Open and continues his rise up the rankings at World No.35.

Adam Scott's victory in the Deutsche Bank Championship moved the Australian into the World top-20 at No.18, a rise of 22 spots and now sees Scott as the second highest placed Australian behind Robert Allenby at No.16 in the World. On December 30th 2000, Scott was ranked at No.145 in the world and since then has accumulated 5 International World Ranking wins; The Alfred Dunhill Championship in South Africa, The Qatar Masters, The Scottish PGA Championship at Gleneagles and the 2003 Scandinavian Masters in Malmo, Sweden.

Titch Moore won the Skandia PGA Open on the European Challenge Tour and Titch moves up 75 spots to World No.323.
