And that's all folks!

Thanks for being with us. It's time for us to head into the winner's press conference and hear what he's got to say, but before we do that for one final time, congratulations Robin Sciot-Siegrist!

A big thank you to everyone here at Galgorm this week!

We'd like to thank everyone associated to this event, from the fans to the sponsors, and this week's host venue and the hosts themselves - it's been a great week and a great event!

Congratulations Robin Sciot-Siegrist! The NI Open Champion!

He's done it! The Frenchman has two putted for a birdie at the final hole to seal a fantastic win! His 3 under par total was two shots better off than what Tadini could manage and it's time for the Frenchman to get drinking the champagne!

Over to your short games then gents...

Siegrist has found the putting surface but is 25 feet away from the hole, while Tadini has come up just short of the green. However, this is almost exactly the same spot where the Italian chipped in from yesterday...

Both players are picking up their tees

You know it's a good drive when the players reach down for those tees quickly, and that's exactly what both Siegrist and Tadini did there with both of their drives finding the fairway.

16:43

Siegrist takes a one shot lead to the last hole!

Well that was interesting. After singing his praises Siegrist missed the green with his approach, but played a great chip to set up what was a fairly comfortable up-and down. Tadini's par meanwhile was anything but comfortable, with the Italian having to hole a nervy seven-footer to keep the deficit to a single shot.

So here we go. After a whole day of match play this is what it comes down to. Siegrist or Tadini.

ct

16:34

Boom!

Sciot is absolutely flying and in the zone after his second birdie on the par threes in this final alone. The Frenchman has just launched one down the par four 5th hole here, and is holding nothing back. After missing another fairway, you get the impression if you offered Tadini the chance to take a one shot deficit to the 6th tee he'd take it right now...

ct

16:22

It's bronze for Braeunig!

Just like Usain Bolt at the Athletics World Championships, bronze is the colour for Braeunig, who birdied the final hole of his 3rd/4th place playoff match with Neil to triumph. Both of those guys can be very proud of their efforts this week. Round of applause everyone.

16:20

Pars all round at the third hole

Tadini will be the happier of the two finalists after both players make par fours at the third hole. The Italian was in the trees after an errant drive, but his short game has once again come to the rescue. Siegrist meanwhile gave himself another good look at a birdie, but for the first time in what seems like a long time, the lefty didn't hammer his putt home.

ct

16:07

Siegrist fights back...

How good has the Frenchman's short game been today? Very good is the answer. After a good tee shot at the par three second hole, the left-hander has just rolled in another one to draw level with Tadini. So the big galleries are being treated to some great golf in the final.

Elsewhere, there's plenty going on in the Bronze medal match, with Bradley Neil and Christian Braeunig tied at 1 under par heading up the final hole...

birdie

15:58

Another hole out!

We've seen some amazing golf here today, and we've just witnessed another fine shot from Tadini at the first hole of his match.

In a very tricky position after a not so good approach, Tadini has chipped in!

Siegrist made a par, so that's now four birdies in a row, if you take into account the Italian's last match as well, and it's Tadini in the ascendancy here early on...

Did you know?

NI Open finalist Alessandro Tadini is nicknamed 'Tripod'. So if you're on of the thousands out there watching this drama unfold feel free to encourage the Italian with random shouts of 'come on Tripod'... Other people might look at you like you're not right in the head, but he'll know what you're talking about.
