A consistent player over the past eight seasons on the European Challenge Tour, Jack Senior secured life-changing promotion to the European Tour after electing to fully commit himself to the Challenge Tour in the second half of 2019.

The Englishman, who made ten starts on the European Tour this year, including a second-consecutive appearance in The Open Championship, turned his full attention to the Challenge Tour schedule in July, and upon doing so, took his game to new heights.

In 14 starts between the D+D REAL Slovakia Challenge and the Challenge Tour Grand Final, Senior recorded nine top 15s, highlighted by a historic win at the Europe’s first professional tournament with equal prize money for men and women — the ISPS Handa World Invitational Men | Women, Presented by Modest! Golf Management — where he birdied the second play-off hole to beat good friend, and housemate that week, Matthew Baldwin.

The victory catapulted Senior up the Road to Mallorca Rankings but his play following the triumph validated his credentials for graduation. Two weeks after winning, Senior found himself on the podium again, this time by way of a tied third place finish in the KPMG Trophy.

Another two weeks after that he picked up his third top five of the season at the 57˚ Open de Portugal @Morgado Golf Resort, and another two weeks after that, he nearly won again, finishing runner-up to Oliver Farr in Morocco at the Lalla Aïcha Challenge Tour.

With the European Tour in his sights, the Lancashire native capped off his Challenge Tour career with a tied fourth place finish at the Challenge Tour Grand Final, his 140th start on the circuit, to complete the year as Road to Mallorca Number Six.
