Scott extends his lead on day four

Home hero Adam Scott stretched his advantage to two shots after making a steady start to his final round at the Australian PGA Championship.

Scott, who won both this event and the Masters Tournament in 2013, began the day with a one stroke lead after finishing his third round with a birdie to jump to ten under par.

And he picked up where he left off on Sunday morning, firing a birdie from two feet at the first hole to move to 11 under and go two clear of nearest challengers Wade Ormsby, Nick Flanagan and Michael Hendry.

After narrowly missing his birdie putt at the short second, Scott had to save par from four feet on the third to maintain his lead.
