Taking digital learning to the next level

Taking digital learning to the next level

Does online coaching really work?

Online golf content is becoming more and more popular which is leading to a dramatic increase in supply. But, is more always better?

Learning anything is a process, which takes repetition and time to understand the key concepts and fundamentals. With golf this is particularly relevant as you are attempting to make changes to a fundamentally complex skill. To maximise the results of your learning, you must give yourself time to practice until it becomes second nature.

This is where the quality of any digital lesson becomes extremely important. Practicing the wrong things due to a lack of information or detailed explanations can lead to larger problems and can seriously detriment your game.

This is where Birdietime differs from the rest. I have been working on Tour for over 2 decades and this is the first service I have seen which really goes into great detail with every lesson. You just don’t get this level of teaching from Youtube and you certainly don’t get the same level of care and attention. This is where the Birdietime coaching plans come into their own.

Gateway to tour-proven coaching.

Birdietimes coaching plans are the gateway to Tour-proven coaching for club players around the world. Before now, getting a lesson with an active Tour coach was merely a pipe dream. Now you have access to lessons from the likes of Phil Kenyon (coach to Justin Rose, Henrik Stenson, Tommy Fleetwood etc.), Lee Crombleholme (coach to Andy Sullivan, Kiradech Aphibarnrat etc.) and Ryder Cup winner Paul Casey.

Designed by Tour coaches and players, you can learn at your own pace with detailed instructions, guidelines and explanations. The level of detail in these coaching plans is what separates Birdietime from many other services out there currently. There is very little room for error and if you need anything clarifying, the Birdietime coaching team are always on hand to help you. Every coaching plan comes with accompanying videos so you can watch, learn and execute every drill. It’s simple but extremely effective.

Currently, there are 8 coaching plans covering areas such as short game, gaining distance, fitness, improving body movement, putting and ball striking. There are even a couple of coaching plans you can practice entirely at home! Each coaching plan lasts between 3-6 weeks but you are urged to continue practicing the drills continuously throughout the season and beyond. With lots of new plans coming in the very near future, there is literally months worth of content for you to enjoy and learn from.

Live sessions with Tour Coaches.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, golf at all levels has come to a halt. This gave us coaches a great opportunity to interact with players on a more personal level in a series of live streams on Birdietime LIVE. These online sessions give you a great insight into our coaching methodologies and experiences on Tour. We also answer all of your questions, whether it be about drills, faults or even myths and misconceptions. All of our past live sessions are being uploaded to the Birdietime site as we speak, so you can catch up on all the past sessions.
