Jorge Campillo picked up his maiden European Tour title at the Trophée Hassan II, finishing two clear of the American duo of Sean Crocker and Julian Suri.
In his previous 228 starts, Campillo collected six runner ups, 10 top three finishes, 17 top five finishes, 28 top 10 finishes and made 150 cuts.
The Spaniard ranked third in the field for the week in strokes gained putting (+9.3 strokes overall), averaging 1.69 putts per GIR (ranked sixth), while also ranking fourth in strokes gained scrambling – getting up and down 74% of the time. That is 19% better than the field average.
