Introducing Competitive Nature presented by BMW…

To celebrate the reduced footprint of the BMW PGA Championship, Jordan Smith and Mia Baker travelled to Pendine Sands, Wales in the fully electric BMW iX50 to take on an epic challenge.

They were there to take on a nearest-the-pin challenge with a difference, highlighting the DP World Tour and BMW’s shared values and sustainability goals.

The challenge was created with an environmental focus, with a ‘green’ created out of nothing other than natural sand, constructed by eco-friendly sand artists Sand In Your Eye.

The green, a replica of the second hole of the Wentworth West Course, was washed away by the waves, leaving the beach as if we were never there. The balls, bibs and pin flag were returned to Wentworth Club, ready for use in this week’s BMW PGA Championship.

The 2022 BMW PGA Championship is set to be the most impressive in its history, striving to be the most sustainably conscious edition to date.
