Joakim Lagergren continued a week of spectacular hole-outs at the Turkish Airlines Open as he bagged the rarest of them all on day two at Regnum Carya Golf & Spa Resort.
After Justin Rose holed from the fairway for an eagle on the fourth on day one and Benjamin Hebert did the same on the 11th, Lagegren went one better on the 12th on Friday.
With 238 yards left to the pin on the par five, the Swede took out a five wood for his second shot and found the bottom of the cup for the sixth albatross of the season.
Remarkably for such a rare achievement, the first three of 2018 came within four weeks of each other, with New Zealander Ryan Fox starting the run by holing his second on the first on day three of the Maybank Championship.
Just five days later South African Zander Lombard repeated the feat on the 15th at the ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth, with Frenchman Raphaël Jacquelin making it a hat-trick on the tenth during round two of the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.

South African Jbe Kruger then holed his second shot on the par-five fourth on day two of the Hero Indian Open, before big-hitting Belgian Nicolas Colsaerts did the same on the 12th in round one of the Portugal Masters.
Lagergren secured his first European Tour win at the Rocco Forte Sicilian Open in May and after his heroics in Antalya, he can now add a maiden albatross to his season of firsts.
"I had 240 yards in the fairway,” he said. “The ball was sitting on a little downslope so I tried to hit the high fade to a tight front pin and it came off perfectly.
“Seeing it drop in and then getting the crowd reaction was really cool. It's now my second albatross but my first on Tour and to do it in an event like this is great.
“Walking without a putter for 240 yards felt sweet.”
