The Barcelona-born player graduated from the Coastal Carlonia University with a degree in Business Administration, before joining the paid ranks in 2005.

Finished top of the European Challenge Tour Order of Merit in 2010 after winning twice, and more recently triumphed at the 2016 Cordon Golf Open after a stunning eight under par final round of 62.

Although he failed to keep his European Tour card in 2009, the year holds special memories as he married his long term girlfriend, Marta.
