    Represented the German National team as a youngster and also played for Team Europe at the 2006 Junior Ryder Cup.

    Turned professional in 2010 and joined the Challenge Tour the following year. He won his first title at the 2012 Gujarat Kensville Challenge in India and went on to graduate to the DP World Tour that season.

    In his rookie year on the DP World Tour, lost in a Tour record-equalling nine-hole play-off at the Open de España to Raphaël Jacquelin.

    Lost out to John Catlin in a five-hole play-off at the Austrian Golf Open in 2021 and also finished second the following week at the Gran Canaria Lopesan Open, his fourth runner-up result on Tour.

    Finally joined the winner’s circle in 2022 as he claimed the D+D REAL Czech Masters title, firing a final round six under par 66 to finish one stroke ahead of Gavin Green.
