Take a break from the links and spend some time at the Spectator Village.

Spectator village

With a number of food and beverage options, interactive Kids Zone activities, various Exhibition units to browse.

There will also be a Giant TV screen and Scoreboard, there is no need to miss any of the golf.

Public catering

There is Public catering located within the Tented Village and will serve a variety of food and drink.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

No picnics / picnic hampers allowed. Alcoholic beverages are also not permitted.

Seating areas

There are seating areas located in the Championship Village and on course catering areas.

Small Portable Lightweight, collapsible foldable camping chairs & Tripod Stools will be permitted.

Banking

ATM by the Public Bar in the Championship Village.

Public Crèche

There will not be a crèche at this event.

There is a baby changing facility within the disabled toilet in the Championship Village.

Can I bring a child’s buggy/pushchair?

Yes you can. However please be aware of uneven terrain.

On-course catering

There will be on-course catering facilities located in the following areas:

  • 10th Green
  • Between 14th Green & 15th Tee
  • Between 11th Green & 13th Green (also accessible from the 6th Green & 14th Tee)

Leaderboards

Leader boards will be located in the following areas:

Hole 6 - Back left of green

Hole 10 - Short right of green, facing 7th green

Hole 11 - Left of green.

Hole 13 - Left of green.

Hole 14 - Right of green.

Hole 15 - Left of green, visible from 2nd fairway.

Hole 16 - Left of green.

Hole 17 - Short left of green.

Hole 18 - Large electronic screen

Grandstands

Free Spectator grandstands are available in the following locations:

  • 1st Tee (approx. 200 seats)
  • 18th Green (approx 450 seats)
  • Driving Range
  • No Reserved Grandstand seating.

Course grandstand seating is free and available to the public on a first come first served basis. NO ALCOHOL OR SMOKING in the grandstands is permitted and spectators are kindly asked not to stand up on the stands during play.

A dedicated wheelchair viewing area will once again be positioned at the front of the 18th grandstand and beside the 1st tee.

Toilets

Public toilets will be available in the Tented Village behind the Main Scoreboard as follows:

  • Gents Toilet
  • Ladies Toilet
  • Disabled Toilet

On course toilets:

  • Locations to be advised

Lost property

Lost property that has been found on-course or in the tented village will be handed in to the Championship Office at the end of each day. The Championship Office is located beside the Tented Village near to the Clubhouse.

Left luggage

There will not be a left luggage facility at this tournament.

Can I bring a bag / rucksack?

Bags and rucksacks are permitted at the Championship and there are no restrictions on size. Please note that all bags are subjected to a search on entry.

First aid

Medic 1 are the official First Aid support on-site at the Senior Open and located in the Tented Village or please ask a Marshal or Championship Official.
