Jesper Svensson became the latest first-time winner as he claimed a play-off victory to earn his maiden DP World Tour title on his 14th start at the Porsche Singapore Classic.
The Swede, who finished fifth on the Road to Mallorca Rankings last year to graduate from the Challenge Tour, had already recorded two runner-up finishes in his rookie season - at the Investec South African Open Championship and Bahrain Championship supported by Bapco Energies - prior to his breakthrough victory.

• His victory makes it the 119th win by players from Sweden and first since Vincent Norrman’s Amgen Irish Open win in September 2023

• After the first event, he moves to the top of the Asian Swing Rankings
• He has also moved to a career-high 110th on the Official World Golf Ranking, from 182nd
