This week European Tour Weekly travels to Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club in Lancashire for The 141st Open Championship. ETW will be on the range with all the latest thoughts from the players on the eve of the third Major Championship of the year.

Last year at Royal St George’s the Claret Jug was lifted by Darren Clarke, who followed in the Major footsteps of compatriots Graeme McDowell and Rory McIIroy, eventually winning by three strokes from the American duo Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson.

ETW caught up with him to reminisce about his first Major title and to hear his thoughts on defending his title at Royal Lytham this week.European Tour Weekly also met up with British Amateur Champion Alan Dunbar. Dunbar, a Walker Cup winner from Graeme McDowell’s Rathmore club earned an invitation to this year’s Open Championship after defeating Matthias Schwab of Austria on the final hole at Troon.

As always we will review all of the best of the action from the most recent European Tour event. This week that means a trip to Inverness for the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open. European Tour Weekly will highlight the best of the action from Castle Stuart Golf Links. Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour, this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
