This week, the European Tour travels to Tucson, Arizona, for the WGC - Accenture Match Play Championship. The first World Golf Championship event of 2013 will see a strong European contingent tee up in the 64-player tournament and as always European Tour Weekly will be on the range at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club to bring you an extensive preview and all the latest news leading up to the event.

Thorbjørn Olesen will be making his WGC debut in Arizona and ETW will meet up with him before his first round match. Olesen has enjoyed a successful start to his European Tour career since qualifying through the Challenge Tour in 2010. He finished fifteenth in last year’s Race to Dubai thanks to his maiden victory at the Sicilian Open.

Our review comes from the Africa Open and ETW will bring you the best of the action from the East London Golf Club.

In a special feature European Tour Weekly takes a look at the growth of golf in South Africa. There are six South African events on the 2013 European Tour schedule including last week’s Africa Open. On the course there are five South African players in the top twelve on the Race to Dubai including number one Richard Sterne who won the recently held Joburg Open.

Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour, which includes the Challenge Tour’s visit to Kenya, this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
