Sergio Garcia regained a share of the lead as the final groups completed their third rounds in the Players Championship.
Garcia, who won at TPC Sawgrass in 2008, and playing partner Tiger Woods each had four holes to get through this morning after a two hour delay due to lightning on the previous afternoon.
Both men duly improved their score by a shot to reach 11 under, Woods birdieing the long 16th and Garcia doing likewise in between a bogey at 15 and a two at the signature 17th hole.
That ensured both men moved level with overnight frontrunner David Lingmerth, who bogeyed the last.
Henrik Stenson, another player to hit the summit yesterday, was a shot further back along with American duo Ryan Palmer and Casey Wittenberg.
English duo David Lynn and Lee Westwood were eight and seven under respectively so could not be ruled out.
